Kazakhstan-based Narxoz University, the Astana International Financial Centre Court (hereinafter – the AIFC Court) and International Arbitration Centre (hereinafter - IAC) signed a framework agreement to expand their scope of cooperation. The document follows on a Memorandum of Understanding signed between the organizations last year. The agreement will give Narxoz students internship opportunities at the AIFC Court and IAC.
The agreement creates opportunities for students of Narxoz University to carry out internships at the AIFC Court and IAC, with the possibility of further employment at the AIFC resident companies. In addition, representatives of the AIFC Court and IAC will teach courses at the University’s School of Law and Public Policy. As part of the agreement, the AIFC Court and IAC will additionally assist Narxoz in opening joint educational programs with leading foreign universities. The new Narxoz campus will provide the AIFC Court and IAC with the opportunities to hold hearings in a specially created courtroom in the style of an international commercial court.
