Forte Bank and Kazpost signed a strategic partnership agreement on online trading

Guram Andronikashvili, Chairman of ForteBank Management Board, and Kanat Alpysbayev, Chairman of Kazpost Management Board, signed a Memorandum of Understanding identifying areas for strategic partnership and collaboration. According to the Memorandum, Kazpost’s fulfillment centers offering a full range of services to online stores (from storing the goods to packaging and sending them out to customers) can be used by Forte ecosystem, which includes ForteBank, ForteMarket, and ForteMobile.

“The concept developed by ForteBank is very dynamic and unique in many ways: the product does not duplicate existing online stores. As Kazpost, we offer collaboration and support to all logistics solutions, starting from fulfillment centers in our regional cities to all district centers and villages where we are present” – said Kanat Alpysbayev, Chairman of Kazpost Management Board.

The cooperation between Forte and Kazpost will be launched in Almaty, where all all existing storage and fulfillment facilities will be utilized. With further development of ForteMarket this exercise will be replicated at a country level to provide smooth transport solutions on the ground. It is worth noting, that Forte has been developing the ecosystem of its products for the last two years. Creating an online marketplace under ForteMarket brand, which offers more than 200 thousand product names and represents more than 500 vendors, is one of the essential parts of this ecosystem.

During the lockdown Forte waived the fees charged for sale of goods through the marketplace. After the lockdown was lifted, Forte reimposed the fees, but at a rate lower than the fees charged by competitors. According to Guram Andronikashvili, Chairman of ForteBank Management Board, the Memorandum will allow the customers to receive their orders even faster.

“The memorandum signed today marks the launch of a long-term and mutually beneficial business partnership between our companies. E-commerce is just one of the areas of cooperation. Customers of ForteMarket marketplace, which is a part of Forte ecosystem, will be able to receive their orders faster in any Kazpost branch from now on” – said Guram Andronikashvili.
