The plant hired more than 500 people, mostly local personnel, from the city of Kyzyl-Kiya. The company cares of the personnel reserve: the employees are sent for training and advanced training on a regular basis, in the countries of near and far abroad.
South-Kyrgyz Cement is a company that provides work places not only for local residents, but also makes a great contribution to social and economic development of Batken region. The SKC annually provides financial assistance to local communities. Since 2010, the enterprise has invested 22 million soms (300 thousand US dollars) in development of rural administration of T. Kulatov and the total amount of social assistance rendered is 44 million soms (600 thousand US dollars). The plant is also one of the largest taxpayers of the country. Annually the company contributes over 500 million soms ($ 7.2 million) to the budget.
In partnership with Italcementi, the cement holding company (the fifth in the world for cement production), the enterprise has set up cement production in a "dry" way, which allows to halve harmful production emissions against the normative indicators.
