The Ritz-Carlton, Astana has announced the appointment of Christoph Schleissing as General Manager. Previously, Christoph held a similar position at Rixos Borovoe Hotel.
Christoph Schleissing has an extensive experience in the hospitality industry. He started his career with a river cruises tour company. For more than 30 years, Christoph has been traveling the world, holding various positions at hotels, including the F&B department, business development, sales, and marketing departments, which makes him an absolute expert in the hotel business.
Christoph successfully managed The Hilton Luxembourg Hotel, Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa in Egypt and The Millennium Resort Mussanah in Oman. Since 2018, he was managing the Rixos Borovoe Hotel in Kazakhstan, a luxury resort with an area of 100,000 square meters, and achieved an incredible 450% increase in performance over the past 3.5 years. Christoph Schleissing is one of the leading hoteliers in Kazakhstan and Central Asia and is well known for his tireless efforts to attract the travelers to the region and the country.
His commitment to the management principles is demonstrated through high performance and is confirmed by numerous awards that hotels under his management received, including the second place in the nomination General Manager of the Year EMEA 2015 award.
