Narxoz University

Narxoz University is a private university in Almaty that trains future professionals in economics, finance, audit, accounting, marketing, law, management, as well as experts in the fields of digital technologies, tourism, hospitality, and public administration. The University offers a broad range of graduate and postgraduate studies in Kazakh, Russian and English.

Narxoz ranks in the top 10 of best universities in Kazakhstan according to Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, and it ranks among the top 5 universities on specific programs. The University ranks among the top 5 universities by number of graduates employed by Big Four companies – PWC, E&Y, KPMG, and Deloitte.

The educational programs of the University are recognized by ACCA and CIMA, giving the graduates a competitive advantage, i.e. exemption from taking additional exams, in obtaining international certification.

In cooperation with Coventry University (UK) and La Rochelle Excelia Group (France), Narxoz offers several double degree programs and works with more than 70 international partners in 33 countries around the world.

The educational programs of Narxoz University are developed jointly with business organizations and reflect current labor market demands. 80% of Narxoz graduates get job offers within 6 months after graduation, and the job search takes about 1.5 months on average.

The University closely cooperates with companies of Verny Capital Group. For instance, Narxoz has implemented dual degree training programs with Rixos Borovoe Hotel and the Ritz-Carlton, Astana. The students can get paid internships at ForteBank and Beeline Kazakhstan.

The University has five Schools – Higher School of Economics and Management, Higher School of Digital Technologies, Higher School of Law and Public Policy, Higher School of Humanities, and Graduate School of Business. The University is also home to three research institutes – Silk Road Case Center, Eurasian Center for Economic and Legal Research, and the Sustainable Development Research Institute. Narxoz campus includes three buildings, a fitness center with a swimming pool, a football stadium, and several student dormitories. A large-scale reconstruction project of the main university building is currently underway. Its official opening is scheduled for 2022.
