June 4, 2024 – Ned Capeleris has been appointed General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton, Vienna, part of the Verny Capital group of companies. From September to December 2023, he served as interim General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton, Astana (Kazakhstan), and since January 2024, he served as interim General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton, Rabat Dar Es Salam (Morocco).
Ned is a hospitality graduate from Ryde Collage of TAFE, Australia. He began his career in hospitality in 1997 as a receptionist in an Australian hotel of an international hotel chain. He has extensive experience in the Middle East and Europe, including the opening of new hotels of the Ritz-Carlton chain in Doha (Qatar), Moscow (Russia), Dubai and Abu-Dhabi (UAE), as well as in Herzliya (Israel).
Since November 2022, Ned Capeleris has been a member of the international association “Honor Les Clefs d’Or International.”
