RG Gold is developing Raygorodok, a gold deposit located in Burabay District in the Akmola Region that is one of the largest in Kazakhstan.
Currently, RG Gold processes 2 Mtpa of oxide ore from the North and South Raygorodok pits using the heap leach method.
A newly built carbon-in-leach (CIP) plant is expected to start processing 5 Mtpa of sulfide ore from the 3rd quarter of 2022.
The existing operation employs approximately 800 own personnel, in addition to more than 300 people employed by various contractors.
