Earlier, Queen’s University Belfast signed a double degree agreement with Narxoz University.
As part of the state visit of the British Foreign Secretary an agreement was signed in Astana between Narxoz University and Queen’s University in Belfast on the intention to implement the institutional presence (opening a branch) of Queen’s University Belfast in Narxoz.
In January this year, at the site of the Bett 2024 International Educational Exhibition in London, Queen’s University Belfast from the prestigious Russell Group, consisting of 24 research universities in the UK, signed a double degree agreement with Narxoz University. It marks the beginning of close partnership. Thanks to the new agreement, the institutional framework of cooperation between the two universities is expanding.
The signing ceremony was attended by Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek, Vice-Provost of the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences of Queen’s University Belfast Professor Nola Hewitt-Dundas, on behalf of Narxoz University – President Miras Daulenov, Advisor to the President Kanat Kozhakhmet and Director of the School of Economics and Management Dilbar Gimranova.
