In order to support a series of measures taken by the President and Kazakh government to stabilize the economic and social situation in the country in the context of the global coronavirus pandemic, Verny Capital Group of Companies announces its decision to allocate an amount of 1 million USD to the Republican Fund for countering coronavirus after the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev’s address to the nation.
“Today, there is not a single person in the world who is not affected by the threat of the spread of coronavirus infection and measures taken by governments to stop the global pandemic. It is a very hard time for all of us and we need to overcome it together, helping and supporting each other. I decided to transfer one million dollars to the Republican Relief Fund. I would like to confirm the Group’s commitment to the principles of responsible business under all conditions,” Bulat Utemuratov said.
Previously, Bulat Utemuratov Foundation allocated 200 million KZT for measures to combat coronavirus in Nur-Sultan and Almaty. The Fund will spend these rescources on purchasing express test kits for COVID19 virus identification and setting up mobile analysis stations together with the Ministry of Health and Health Departments.
