Narxoz University became the first university in Kazakhstan and Central Asia to sign a double degree agreement with Queen’s University Belfast.
Narxoz University and one of the oldest universities in the UK, Queen’s University Belfast, have signed a historical Agreement for institutional partnership and double degree at the Bett 2024 international educational exhibition in London. The Agreement is based on the arrangements reached between the School of Economics and Management of Narxoz University and the Business School of Queen’s University.
Founded in 1845 in Belfast, Queen’s University is one of the famous universities in Great Britain and Northern Ireland, ranking 202nd in the world according to QS World University Rankings 2024. The University is famous for its prominent graduates – Nobel Prize laureates, prominent government and public figures.
The Agreement was signed with the participation of Mr. Sayasat Nurbek, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Lord Malcolm Offord, Parliamentary Deputy Secretary of State and Minister of Export Affairs of the United Kingdom, as well as Mr. Magzhan Ilyasov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Kingdom.
