Narxoz University enters global top 200 for graduate employability

In the updated QS World University Rankings 2027, Narxoz University once again ranked first among universities in Kazakhstan and Central Asia on the key indicator of Employment Outcomes.

Narxoz’s strong performance goes beyond its regional leadership in graduate career outcomes. In the global ranking, the Kazakhstani university entered the top 200 worldwide, placing it among the top 15% of universities globally out of more than 1,500 institutions included in the ranking.

The university also recorded positive progress across other key indicators. In the Faculty-Student Ratio, Narxoz moved up from the 701–800 range to 501–600. A more balanced ratio of faculty to students creates greater opportunities for meaningful feedback, academic mentoring, and student engagement in research and project-based learning.

Narxoz also significantly improved its performance in terms of internationalization. In the indicator measuring the proportion of international students, the university moved from the 701–800 range to 501–600, reflecting its growing appeal among students from other countries. At the same time, Narxoz maintained its strong position in the number of international faculty members — an important indicator of both internationalization and the quality of the academic environment.
