On Monday, February 18, the grand opening of a new sports complex was held at Haileybury Astana School. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Board of Trustees, the school administration and other guests. As part of the sports complex opening, a basketball match between the Astana QSI Wolves and Haileybury U19s teams took place.
The new sports complex is a subdivision of the faculty of physical education at Haileybury Astana. In order to create more comfortable conditions for classes and more functional use of space, a lot of work has been done.
There are equipped rooms for general physical training and educational classes for school students (football, basketball, volleyball, badminton), showers and changing rooms. The gym is equipped with curtain walls. New training equipment will be installed in the “sports zone”.
The total area of the sports complex (SOC) is 1 851.28 square meters. Extracurricular time, cultural events and sporting events of various levels will be held here.
