The Ritz-Carlton, Astana lights up its windows to support doctors fighting Covid-19

The Ritz-Carlton, Astana took part in a global campaign.

The hotels around the world lit up their windows in the shape of a heart to send a message of love and hope to all doctors fighting Covid-19.

“We are a part of something big. We appreciate and thank everyone who is at the forefront of the fight against coronavirus” – said Katya Sova, Deputy General Manager for Operations at the Ritz-Carlton Astana.

Hotels around the world that have been emptied due to the coronavirus pandemic turn on the lights, expressing their deepest gratitude to all doctors. The campaign was supported by hotels in Russia, the U.S., Canada, India, UAE, Germany, Norway, Indonesia and some other countries.

On March 11, WHO officially declared Covid-19 a pandemic. According to the latest data, more than 1.5 million people have been infected with coronavirus worldwide. More than 100,000 people died.
